The Columbia city business improvement area

WHAT IS A BIA?

Business improvement areas (BIAs) are funding mechanisms for business district revitalization and management. Local stakeholders oversee and fund the maintenance, improvement, and promotion of their commercial district.

The Columbia City Business Improvement Area (CCBIA) is one of eleven business improvement areas in Seattle. Its mission is to enhance public area maintenance, support public safety, and advocate on behalf of its members. The Columbia City Business Association is proud to partner with the Columbia City BIA as it works to keep our community clean, safe and welcoming.
